LEARN ABOUT

Our Future

THE JENKINS FAMILY NATURE PRESERVE, INC.

Nature is our sole supplier. Nature’s importance to the human race is essential to life. Nature provides the natural world around us with food, water, medicine, and materials for shelter. Humans rely on nature for climate cycles and nutrients. The air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, and the materials we use for shelter and daily necessities are contributed to natural resources. It is important to protect nature. Taking care of our environment will protect lives such as animals, plants, crops, trees, and even our own. The Jenkins Family Nature Preserve (TJFNP) has 20 acres of land to contribute to protecting nature and educating people from all walks of life on how to use, appreciate, protect, and benefit from nature. The mission of TJFNP is to educate and impart nature’s gifts to all people. The vision of TJFNP is to bring people from all walks of life into a safe space to Teach, Develop, and Equip them on how to enhance the Earth through environmental and educational pursuits. This vision and mission have been a lifelong practice for the owners Charles and Deborah Jenkins. They enjoy philanthropy and helping charitable organizations. With the 20 acres, they hope their dream will reach as many people willing to receive help and education as possible. TJFNP will have a number of offerings that are currently in development to include a building to meet, fruit and nut orchards, vegetable and flower gardens, nature trails, and a wildlife observatory.  The Jenkins Family Nature Preserve will be located at C E Norman Rd. Lincoln, GA 30317. TJFNP relies on grants and charitable donations to operate its services for public consumers.

Our Future thoughts

Welcome Facility

TJFNP is currently in the development and construction stage. Our first project is to create a space for the community to meet before venturing out on the preserve. This facility will house important information and aids to assist the community to navigate and enjoy the preserve.

Florals & Vegetation

TJFNP will offer a fruit and nut orchard along with gardens to include vegetables and flowers. The community will be able to pick from the garden when crops are available.

Seating & Shade

TJFNP welcomes all donors to have a bench or gazebo dedicated to their contributions to the preserve.

Classes & Event Establishments

TJFNP welcome all teachers and counselors to offer classes about nature, nutrition, spirituality, and wildlife on the preserve.

Trails & Reflection Centers

TJFNP will have nature paths thorough the preserve that will welcome people to enjoy nature up close and personal.

“We do not see nature with our eyes, but with our understandings and our hearts.

– Willian Hazlitt

“Don’t just aim, hit the target! Some people are not at their goals because they are afraid of success. Feel the fear, and do it anyways. Our aim in life should be to overcome every fear we struggle with internally.”
