Restoration
& Development Project
Storm damage left the land broken, but not beyond repair. This project is our promise to rebuild trails, replant gardens, and restore nature for everyone to enjoy again. With care, planning, and your support, we’re bringing this space back to life — one step at a time.
Community in Action

Clearing the Way
Volunteers came together to remove debris and clean up storm-damaged areas, preparing the land for safe access and healing.

Planting for the Future
With every seed and shovel, new life is beginning to grow. Our garden beds are slowly being restored to nourish both people and wildlife.

Moments That Matter
Smiles and teamwork remind us why this space is important. The restoration project is rebuilding more than land — it’s rebuilding community.
Where the Earth Heals,
So Do We
This isn’t just a rebuild — it’s a revival. Help us turn damaged ground into a thriving space for nature, learning, and peace.

Reviving What Matters
Restoration is more than repair — it’s renewal. This project focuses on rebuilding the natural balance that once flourished here, using native plants, sustainable practices, and community support to create a healthy, thriving space. People often wonder how land restoration works. It starts with small steps: clearing debris, planting the right seeds, and giving nature the time and space to recover. The goal is to bring back what was lost — and leave it better than before.
Why Restoration Matters
After a disaster, many ask if nature can truly bounce back. The answer is yes — with care, commitment, and teamwork. Restoration gives damaged land a second chance and turns a setback into a fresh beginning. It’s also about more than the soil. These projects restore connection, create learning opportunities, and give families a place to gather and grow. Rebuilding the environment rebuilds the heart of the community, too.

Rebuilding Together
Every step toward restoration brings us closer to a stronger, greener future. We’re working to restore natural spaces and rebuild what was lost—together, with your support.

Land Clearing and Trail Recovery
The purpose of this initiative is to remove fallen trees, brush, and debris, while also clearing and restoring safe, marked walking trails for visitors. These steps are crucial not only for safety but also to begin the process of reforestation and replanting in cleared areas, contributing to the overall revitalization of the Preserve.

Wildlife & Habitat Conservation
Our purpose is to protect and nurture the diverse ecosystems within the Preserve. This includes establishing fencing to protect wildlife from hunters, building shelters for various animals and pollinators, and actively promoting biodiversity. We are also committed to educating the public on ecosystem preservation.

Agricultural Development
Our purpose is to cultivate a productive and sustainable agricultural space that benefits both the community and the environment. This initiative involves preparing and testing soil for fruit and nut tree planting, creating vibrant flower beds, vegetable plots, and crucial pollinator habitats.
We are also incorporating innovative Walipini greenhouses for year-round, climate-controlled growing, and installing efficient irrigation systems and composting areas to promote sustainable practices. These efforts will provide free access to fresh, chemical-free produce for the community and serve as hands-on educational environments.
Free Produce & Plant Program
Our purpose is to ensure that visitors have access to fresh, chemical-free fruits, vegetables, nuts, and plants at no cost. Beyond serving our visitors directly, this program also aims to address food insecurity within the wider community by donating surplus produce to local food banks and families in need.
Through this program, we are committed to providing healthy food options and fostering a stronger, more food-secure community. These programs will benefit the community by providing free access to fresh, chemical-free fruits, vegetables, nuts, and plants. Any surplus produce will be donated to local food banks and community families in need.
Revitalizing damaged natural spaces and creates a thriving hub for education, food access, conservation, and culture. Your support directly contributes to reclaiming space in nature and creating inclusive outdoor experiences for all, especially for future generations.
